In order to exchange experiences and strengthen working ties, a delegation of officials from the National Agency for Regulation, Control and Health Surveillance (Arcsa) of Ecuador met with their Peruvian counterparts from Digemid.
The visiting delegation not only received information on the standards and procedures established for obtaining sanitary registration, but also on the regulation of medicines, biological products, medical devices and medical devices, as well as the regulation of cannabis for medicinal use.
As members of the Andean Community of Nations (CAN), both countries hope to promote policies in favor of good manufacturing and marketing practices for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics and personal hygiene products, and thus prevent their markets from being flooded with counterfeit products that threaten the health of consumers.
